Meal Train can always use volunteers to prepare a meal or two for our neighbors in need!  Sign up is easy, and you can pick your days, meals, etc!

Would you consider being a Deacon?  Please see Susan Struble for more information.  We will be involved in nominating the next class of Deacons as some of our Deacons have reached their term.

Volunteer Oportunities

Would you like to help in some way?  We have many Outreach programs.  In our community, and out in the world.  Have you thought "Maybe I could help?"  Serving does not always mean food.  Bring can goods and other non-perishables to Communion Sunday for the Salvation Army in North Port is one way.  Communion Sunday is the first Sunday of each month.  There is a collection crate in the Narthex and it goes directly to the Salvation Army!

We also need help with general maintenance.  Does the walkway need sweeping?  Do the Connection Cards in the pews need refilling?  When we have Fellowship following the service, do the tables need cleaning?  Any help is always appreciated!!

Another way to be an Usher during services.  We can show you "the ropes!"  One Sunday a month perhaps?   Perhaps be a greeter in our Garden Room!  Like reaching out and making people feel welcome?  Greeting is for you!
