Noah’s Ark Preschool

January 2019 Newsletter

"For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good … to give you a future and a hope.” - Jeremiah 29:11

Happy New Year, to all of our Noah’s Ark families!

2019 is already full of growth and optimism! We are so happy to share the joys that the future holds with you and your children! VPK and all regular classes will resume on Monday January 7th, 2019!

January School Closures

Noah’s Ark Preschool will be closed on Monday January 1st to observe New Year’s Day, and also on Monday January 21st to observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

UF Nutrition Class

Ms. Dina will be here on Tuesday January 22nd with a “Winter Harvest” lesson!

Schedule your Conference Today!

Parent-Teacher conferences will be held during the week of January 28th. Please look for the sign-up sheet (coming soon!) in your child’s classroom to schedule a 15-minute conference with their teacher. If you work, or are unable to meet, teachers can arrange a phone conference or send the conference form home for you to review and return. As we are at the half-way point of our school year please try to set aside this time (if you are able to do so!) to assure that your child is meeting all of their milestones.

Playground Updates http://www.newdesignfile.com/postpic/2012/03/under-construction-sign-vector-free_282418.jpg

Thank you for your patience while the main playground had its cement redone. Our annual state visit showed that our mulch is holding up nicely and is well within safety standards. We are currently pricing sun sails and are awaiting the results of a grant to help boost the monies earned during our Fall candle fundraiser for sun shade protection.

Parents…as some of the days are cooler than others, please leave a light sweatshirt/jacket in your child’s cubby. Please check that there is a complete change of clothes that are weather and size appropriate for this time of the year!

Here’s to a Happy and Healthy 2019!
