March 2021

For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

- 2 Corinthians 4:6

“You're never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child!”

  • Dr. Seuss

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

What better way to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday (Tuesday March 2nd) this month than reading with your child?! Please visit the following website for more materials to help you celebrate:

Trike-A-Thon for St. Jude Children's Hospital

On Friday March 5th Noah's Ark will be participating in our annual Trike-A-Thon to help raise funds for St. Jude Children's Hospital during their morning outside time. Permission/Donation slips have been handed out in your child’s file; please include any donations for St. Jude (checks are made payable directly to them) in the envelope, and hand it in by the morning of Friday March 5th.

“Spirit Week” will be held the week of 3/8 – 3/12! Please check your child’s ClassDojo and Facebook for a list of what the theme will be for each day!

“Spring” Ahead!

Day Light Savings is on Sunday March 14th! Remember to “Spring Ahead!” and set your clocks ahead one hour!

Spring Break News

Noah's Ark Preschool WILL be open during “Spring Break Week”, from Monday 3/15/21 – Friday 3/19/21. Please be aware there will be no VPK that week. All younger classes and wrap-around students may attend on their regular days. Please see the survey posted in your ClassDojo to let your child's teacher know if they will be here that week. (VPK will resume on Monday March 22nd)

Watch for Leprechauns!

Leprechauns can be sneaky. Can you be “sneakier'? Work on building a “leprechaun trap” with your family and watch on Wednesday March 17th to see if you caught one! Shhhhh…we are whispering because we do not want them to hear!

Saturday March 20th is the First Day of Spring!

Parents, if you wish for us to apply sunscreen to your child, please ask us for a sunscreen authorization form to leave with your child's teacher! Springtime sun can cause sun burn! Ouch! (Please provide the sunscreen along with the authorization form!)
