"As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them. " — John Fitzgerald Kennedy

Thanksgiving Feast “Luncheon”!

Each child will have 1 ticket to invite a parent/grandparent/older family member to join us for Chapel, followed by a Thanksgiving themed luncheon on Wednesday November 15th in Fellowship Hall, where we can all enjoy a good meal and plenty of conversation with our classmates, family members and teachers! We will post a sign-up sheet in your child’s classroom for items needed to share with each class. Due to limited space we are allotting the one “guest” ticket per child. Please RSVP in your child’s classroom by Friday 11/10 so that we may get an idea of the number attending and if any additional tickets may become available to give out. (Younger siblings not requiring a seat as they will either be in a stroller or on a parent's lap will not need a ticket.)

Runny Noses and Freezing Toes-es

Our weather is beginning to change! Please bring a sweatshirt or lightweight jacket in case our wind picks up or if your child feels chilly. With cold and flu season starting, please have your child eat well and get plenty of rest as it is easy to get run down in the excitement of the upcoming holiday season. Please remember that if your child is out sick, to call the school and let us know. Any child that is out sick for 3 days or more is to bring in a note from their doctor stating that it is o.k. for them to return to school. Please also keep in mind that your child should be here at school no later than 8:30am so that they may get the full benefit of their morning routine, as well as not disrupting the flow of the class for the teacher/their fellow classmates. If your child will be coming in later than 9am due to a doctor's appointment, please have the doctor write a note. For all school readiness children, an absence note must be sent in upon their return to school stating their missed days, as per the Coalition.

School Closure Dates:
